The company was founded in 1997 as a subsidiary of the Wohlenberg Buchbindesysteme GmbH in Verden/Aller, Germany, with the purpose of consulting international customers and
world wide marketing of Wohlenberg products:

Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Dieter Ehlermann is the managing director. He has excellent skills and experience of nearly 30 years in the graphic industry. He is responsible for the marketing of Wohlenberg products in the following regions:

Asia - Australia - Central America - Middle East - South America

Based on state-of-the-art technology, intensive marketing research and excellent customer service in these countries, Wohlenberg reached leading market positions. Especially the glue application systems, for example the new PUR (= polyurethane glue) technology, were successfully introduced in countries like Taiwan and Brazil. Also, the introduction of the new Champion 8000 series in China in 1998 led to a leading position in the text book production.

Extensive meetings with the management and the machine operators of our customer companies caused a rich information flow back to the engineering department of Wohlenberg in Germany. This considerably influences research and development at the factory.
