4000 - SYSTEM CONCEPT
The City
4000 perfect binder is the centerpiece of a complete
system, which can be extended as book binding company
expands. The City 4000 is equipped with interfaces for later
extension into a perfect binding line with a gathering
machine, conveyor system and a three-knife trimmer.
Change-over
times are extremely short
and enable cost-effective finishing of very small print runs. The
City 4000 model is the ideal perfect binder for the medium-sized
speed range. Easy-to-use and easily accessible operational
controls and helpful settingaids ensure fast
set-up times. Shaftless drives between the gathering
machine and the perfect binder are fitted as standard.
The compact
design allows installation in an extremely
small area. Coldglue, hotmelt, and PUR techniques enable
the user to satisfy market requirements.
The coated
clamping carriage system has central adjustment of 0-70 mm, guidance
implemented by double ball bearings, and unlocking technology for
easy opening of the clamps. The
main drive is a maintenance-free, frequency-controlled threephase
a.c. motor. The PLC control is equipped with a multi-language diagnosis
terminal. All the generously dimensioned collapsible safety hoods
are convenient and offer a high standard and offer a high standard
of safety.
